This Payment and Pricing Policy applies to all orders placed through Books Wallah at bookswallah.co.in.
1. Available Payment Options
Customers may place orders using the payment options displayed at checkout.
Orders may be placed as:
- Prepaid orders
- Cash on Delivery orders
The availability of a payment option will be shown during checkout.
2. Prepaid Orders
For prepaid orders, customers must complete the payment through the payment option available on the checkout page.
An order will be treated as prepaid only after the payment has been completed successfully.
3. Cash on Delivery Orders
For Cash on Delivery orders, payment must be made at the time of delivery.
Cash on Delivery availability will be displayed during checkout.
4. Shipping Charges
Books Wallah offers free shipping on orders above ₹799.
For orders below ₹799, the following shipping charges apply:
- Prepaid orders: ₹40
- Cash on Delivery orders: ₹80
The applicable shipping charge will be calculated and displayed at checkout before the order is placed.
5. Product Prices
All product prices are displayed on bookswallah.co.in.
Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice.
The price applicable to an order will be the price displayed at checkout when the order is placed successfully.
6. Discounts and Offers
Discounts, promotional offers and coupon codes will be subject to the conditions displayed with the applicable offer.
Books Wallah may modify or discontinue an offer at any time.
7. Pricing Errors and Inaccuracies
Occasionally, product prices, discounts, shipping charges, offers or other information displayed on the website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
Books Wallah reserves the right to correct such errors and update the information.
If incorrect pricing or other inaccurate information affects an order, Books Wallah may change or cancel the order and may contact the customer using the email address or phone number provided while placing the order.
8. Order Confirmation
Placing an order or completing a payment does not prevent Books Wallah from reviewing the order.
Books Wallah reserves the right to refuse, limit or cancel an order in accordance with its Terms of Service.
If an order is changed or cancelled, Books Wallah may attempt to notify the customer through the email address or phone number provided at checkout.
9. Failed or Pending Payments
If a prepaid payment is unsuccessful or remains pending, the order may not be confirmed until the payment status is updated successfully.
Customers should verify the order status before making another payment for the same order.
10. Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, will be handled according to the Books Wallah Refund, Return and Replacement Policy.
Books Wallah does not have an automatic refund system for prepaid orders returned to origin.
Customers whose prepaid orders are returned to origin must contact Books Wallah on WhatsApp or email to request a refund.
11. Order Cancellation
Orders may only be cancelled within 6 hours of placing the order.
A full refund will be processed for an eligible prepaid order cancelled within the permitted cancellation period.
An order cannot be cancelled after it has been picked up by the courier or marked as shipped, in transit or out for delivery.
Cancellation requests must be submitted through WhatsApp or email.
12. Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing correct and complete billing, contact and order information.
Books Wallah will not be responsible for issues caused by incorrect information provided by the customer while placing the order.
